NOTE: These are two separate classes, not a single class that meets twice a week.
An introduction to the art of aerial silks, a fun way to build strength, body awareness, and confidence in the air. Learn poses, wraps, and transitions in the fabric, all at your own pace and comfort level. All skills will be taught near the ground and with heavy spotting by the instructor, moving higher as your skills grow. No prior aerial, dance, gymnastic, or athletic experience necessary- come learn what you didn’t think your body could do!
Open Practice Registration Open Tuesdays 7:15 p.m.-8:30 Free to session students; sliding-scale drop-in fee of $5-$10 for non-students.Train on your own under the supervision of an instructor. Practice things you’ve learned in class, go over a routine, or just get your conditioning workout in! This is a free perk for students who have committed to either weekly private lessons or the full seven-week session.

Seven-week-session tuition: $175
This class will focus on form and strength building. Beginners will be coached through basic sequences with an emphasis on fluidity of movement and strength of form. More advanced students will have the opportunity to refine and finesse their movement in the air and work on routines and advanced tricks. Strength-building and conditioning will be emphasized as well. Students entering this class should be able to climb to the top of the silks with ease and be familiar with executing foot locks in the air.

Seven-week-session tuition: $175
Aerial hoop and static trapeze offer unique avenues for expression, strength building, and fun. This introductory class will cover basic mounts and poses while emphasizing form. Short sequences will be introduced to build confidence and stamina in the air. No prior experience is necessary!

Thursdays 6:00 p.m.-7:15
Seven-week-session tuition: $175
This class provides and introduction to all the aerial apparatuses currently available in the space: Aerial silks, aerial hoop, static trapeze, and aerial rope (a.k.a. Corde Lisse). Beginners will be coached through the basics of each apparatus, building form and confidence, while more advanced students will have the opportunity to choreograph and practice short sequences on each apparatus to build stamina and comfort in the air. There is no prior experience necessary!
Private Lessons:
Private instruction is available for all levels of silks, trapeze, hoop, and rope. No experience necessary- all are welcome, whether you’re looking for a fun way to build strength and flexibility, a thrilling hobby, or have professional aspirations. Come in for a one-off lesson, or schedule regular private instruction.
Rates for one-off private lessons available on request.
If you have a group of 3 or more people who would like to schedule a regular weekly class, and can commit to at least 6 weeks at a time, you get the regular class rate, which is $25 per person.
